New to the Benz's. Love my ride. I'm just starting. I bought it from an auction house. No mtc records, cold a/c, no heat (FL car), new head, tranny leaks a little, Rides nice on the highway, smokes like a bear on start and around town it feels like I'm towing a bus. Thats my ride : )

Hi,
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I'm waiting for the weather to brighten and the salt to leave the roads before I use it. A very frustrating couple of weeks, I can tell you.
Do these rims look OK, or should I get back to the original 15 inch?

Previously wearing 215/50R17 Bridgestone ER30 on Lorinser 8Jx17" RS90 ET22, but the ride was rather too harsh for my liking & these Lorinsers are quite heavy. So I went back to the bog standard 15" flat face and then came this set of AMG 7.5Jx16" ET17 with Yokohama ES100 225/55R16.
The ride was improved over the Lorinser, not surprising since the W126 was designed to ride on the 14" rims to begin with.
