Photo DIY- Coolant Fluid Replacement
Although WIS Specifies "Every 3 Years",
I use a "Every 2 Year" interval, per the advice from my friend who is the Head Tech at a Huge MB Dealer.
USE ONLY MB OEM FLUID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although people swear Zerex 05 is the "exact" same stuff............ I'm not taking ANY chances, especially for a couple of bucks difference!!! MB parts are horribly expensive, as you know.
Also, USE ONLY DISTILLED or DEIONIZED WATER. Yes, WIS has a detailed treatise on acceptable tap water specifications......... but, again, you are talking 2 gallons of Distilled water at 90 cents per gallon.
Please dispose of the fluid per your local regulations.
