I am brand new to this forum, however I was a member of the SLK World forum back when I owned a 2001 SLK 320. I recently traded that car in and bought a 2007 CLK 350 convertible and am looking to the experts to point me in the right direction regarding phone options.

I've been reading through the threads in the Technical section under Audio and with all that information I'm sure I will eventually find an answer. However, I'm taking a shot at the easy way out and just posting what I hope is a simple question. I have what I believe is the Bluetooth Interface Module in the center console armrest, but don't have an documentation.

So, is there a way I can pair my (Apple iPhone) and my wife's (Samsung Galaxy S6) phones to the vehicle? I figure it never hurts to just come right out and ask.

If you already have the bluetooth adapter inserted to the centre console storage space socket, then you only need to initiate bluetooth pairing (press the bt adapter button for a few seconds until a blue led starts blinking) and then pair it with your phone (code is MBUSA).

Hi,
I've just bought a C320 (56 plate) and it has the MB Bluetooth adapter fitted in the centre console. I've tried a few times to pair it with my Samsung Galaxy Prime (It can see it as the MB Phone Adapter) but it will not accept the PIN I tap into the phone. I've tried 0000, 1234, and MBUSA all to no avail. Is there a way to reset a previous PIN and create a new one ??

If it can see the MB adapter, the Mercedes portion of it is working as it should. You may have to refer to your phone's pairing instructions.

I don't know of a way to reset the PIN on the puck. The code is printed on it somewhere.

I don't know what a 56 plate is, or were you are located. Knowing that would help us to assist you.

Hi,
Thanks for responding Skylaw. The PIN I needed (62872) I found here Home. I did manage to connect just as my wife insisted I start on other jobs. So I've had no time to "play" yet. It looks like I've got it connected all I've got to do now is find out how it all works/connects with the Command unit and configure it to do my bidding !

Ps. The 56 plate denotes the 6 month period of a year of the car's registration in the UK, in this case late 2006.

I've just realised why the code MBUSA mentioned above didn't work for me. Over here in England we haven't used the letter groups associated with the telephone key numbers for decades .... so I tried to input the characters "MBUSA" ..... however watching a YouTube video I realised that MBUSA = 62872. Another example of two countries separated by a common language.:nerd

AHA! Thanks for closing the loop. When you said you had tried "MBUSA" I assumed you had meant the numbers that represents. You know what "assume" does, of course. Makes an ass of u and me.
