My S350 is Japan imported and i believe is US Version.Now the Issue is the navigation DVD is for japan map and made in Zenrin Ltd. Co. (pic is Attached).
no other NAV DVD are working with it , i tried more than 5 Deferent Version can not recognize as Nav DVD .my nav Sys is in the Head Comand and not in the back (Not seperate DVD) .Head Comand is contain MD and DVD/VCD/CD Player (2 pics Are Attached ) . Now I need help to now which version of navigation will work on it , according to Persian Gulf Countries (Specially Kuwait) ?

The Second Issue is when i bought the car no Phone was inside !! i was searching all local market to find a hand set for the special socket in the car (photo attached ) but no hope , some say it could be Panasonic , some say Simense and finally i coudnt find the type of it

Now please have look to the photo and if any body as same socket , please let me know about the Phone type .

Good Morning Gents,

Apologies for banging on in an old thread again.
since I have the same problem, so best keep it in the relevant thread.

After researching I found people have recommended Sharp gx20 gx15, also Panasonic EB-G500, some have suggested LG phone.

My question

a. If someone has access to EPC, can we find out for certain which phone goes in for ( WDB2201751A440679).
b. Are the phones / Command hardwired for Japanese carriers ( I doubt this very much ).

since this command does not have Bluetooth feature, I intend to use the remote SIM over Bluetooth feature.

I hope someone can tell me the phone's model, I will purchase do the experiment and then post the results once and for all.

Salman when I looked up your VIN it does not tell me a model of phone. Your datacard is attached and has no reference to the mobile. I also checked in WIS and it has a lot of retrofit docs for the phone. The only part I could find for the mobile phone in the EPC is the holder A211 820 04 51, but that doesn't tell you a model of anything else. Do you have a part number from the phone setup in the car?

I think I remember that jack and cord as matching the Motorola Timeport L line of phones.

Nothing definitive but the pic is highly suggestive that they are a match

I will check the local dealer one more last before purchasing the phones.
