Guys, i used to love to detail my own cars and sometimes help friends and family. Unfortunately, due to getting older and a couple of knee surgeries, I no longer have the mobility required to do more than just putter on small detail projects.

I know there are professional detailers that charge an arm and a leg to clay bar and polish and wax, but I would like a longer lasting solution.

My newly acquired 2003 ML55 has excellent paint and not too many nicks and scratches. Looking for a procedure to bring this W163 back to its original glory without spending a ton of money. I know Ceramic coatings are the current rage, but they too are expensive if done properly. Permafinish is a procedure that has been around a while and just curious if it is a good long term solution. Comments welcomed........
