They have nothing for the 1.8 at this time except possibly a muffler. Their exhaust pieces are made by Remus/Sebring.

is there a difference between...

Is there a difference between the the C180 K and the US spec C230 K (w/ 1.8 engine). I saw other countries have the C180 and C180K as a different car than the C230K. I was just wondering if the new C230K we get in the US is just a rebadged C180K elegance.

Yes, there is a difference

Hi eMLi,

Locally (South Africa), we get three versions of the new 1.8 engine:

C180K Sedan 105kW 220 (torque)
C200K Sedan 120kW 240 (torque)
C230K Coupe 141kW 260 (torque)

We do not get a sedan version of the C230K.
Your C230K is definitely not a rebadged C180K.

Visit:

for a comparison between the old engines and the new 1.8 engine.

Hope this answers your question.

Yep, that's what I was pondering about. Plus that's exactly where I saw these C180K's... Thanks
