I recently found some rims that I want to purchase but after talking to the company they told me that 285/55/r19 would rub and I should use 285/45r19. How much would running 45's affect the ride. Could these support the weight of the my SUV 2003 ML350??? thanks.

the 285/45-19 has a load capacity of 2149 lbs. .... your OE tire has a laod capacity of ...

the 285/45-19 has a load capacity of 2149 lbs. .... your OE tire has a laod capacity of 2095 lbs .... yes the 285/45-19 is the correct fitment

by maintaining a 5" sidewall height the ride quality will be sportier but not at all har...
