Ok, I know this has been covered adnauseum, BUT here is my situation: I am the proud owner of a set of Britain pentas. 8/16 ET11. I have mounted the rim on the front of the car just to see how it looks.
Looks great but it sticks out far more than my current wheel/ tire combo.
Currently I have 8 (or 8.5)/18 ET 31 with 245/40/18 tires. The car has been lowered with Eibach springs. There is maybe 10mm gap beteween the fender and the tire. Looking from the top is sucked in about 3/4 inch from the outer edge of the fender. When I go fast and go thru a dip on the highway, it rubs every once in a while on the upper front part of the fender.

SO, with the ET11 that sticks out further than my current ET31 and lowered stance what do you guys think is the optimal tire size?

225/55/16
225/50/16
or 205/55/16???

If I could see pictures that would also help me decide! I'd like to get this done this weekend so THANKS for all the help guys!

I run 225 50 16's on my Gen I five spokers. My fenders were rolled and my SEL is lowered. No issues.

Thanks Al! I have been admiring your car and was wondering what size you have. 225/50 is what I'll go with then.
