Hi i have a 2008 cdi220 c class and the covering on the function buttons on the centre console (not the number buttons)is peeling and wrinkled. Does anyone know if this is common, or if i can replace them and if so how,,,,? many thanks

Nav button and driver power window switch black covering has chipped off on my 2008.

I bought some flat black automotive touchup paint, will try that soon enough.

All those buttons are part of the head unit. Unfortunately there aren't replacement parts available. You would need to replace the entire head unit.

The dealer can repair these... I had two repairs done and while the look is almost spot on, the feel is different and I know it's just not right (but looks fine).

I'm curious how I can get my radio to fail, so it's replaced under warranty. :(
