Passenger side no power??

1676 Views 6 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Skylaw
I went to my car tonight and i started it up and there was no power to anything on the passenger side of the car, mirrors will not swing out, passenger seat will not move, no door controls work over there either. I pulled and checked just about every fuse on the car and they were all fine. I am out of ideas and at this point i just want to know if there is a way i can manually swing out the passenger side mirror without breaking it so i can drive it to the shop or if y'all have any ideas about how i can fix this without taking it to the shop that would be great.

Definitely. The tinter dripped water onto your door control module and shorted it out. You're looking at about a $600 or more repair for the dealer to do it.

You may be able to get the unit out and dry it carefully - soaking up visible water and using a hair dryer. You may not. See http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w220-s-class/1358362-no-power-front-passenger-door.html
No way to know unless you ask the tinter.
Your local dealership, of course. And since you're there, try AutohausAZ.
