Passenger side no power??

1678 Views 6 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Skylaw
I went to my car tonight and i started it up and there was no power to anything on the passenger side of the car, mirrors will not swing out, passenger seat will not move, no door controls work over there either. I pulled and checked just about every fuse on the car and they were all fine. I am out of ideas and at this point i just want to know if there is a way i can manually swing out the passenger side mirror without breaking it so i can drive it to the shop or if y'all have any ideas about how i can fix this without taking it to the shop that would be great.

I also had my windows tinted today, do you think that possibly some of the water they sprayed on the window could have leaked down and shorted out the passenger side door controls
Thanks Skylaw i have been looking around online and figured that was the problem. Do you think i would be able to get the tint shop to cover the repairs? If not i have a really great mechanic that should be able to fix it up.
Update

Took it to the shop and they did find dried water on the Door control module, good news the shop that tinted the car and caused the problem will be picking up the tab for the repair. Now onto my next question, does anyone out there know where i can find a Door control module for the passenger side of a 2004 S430?
