I have a bunch of parts from my 450SLC that I'd like to keep for my 500SLC if they fit... The things I can think of are the fuel, air, and oil filters, plugs, distributor cap, rotor, alternator, battery, etc...

All of that stuff is either unused or has <50 miles on it. There is a slot under the center vents on the 500SLC that looks like it had a slider for a "flappy" valve for the vents. The slider is missing though. My 450 doesn't have a slider there. Would one of the side ones work there? Is it even missing?

you can use 450s rear axle diff house 3.07 and axelshafts as well . even the whole rear control arms both 450 and 500 cars is using the same aloy arms .
Ah, good call on the axles... Those are definitely worth keeping around. Maybe also calipers. I hesitate to start stealing suspension parts or else I don't know how the truck would be able to get the car out of my driveway =]

Looks like I'll be keeping a few things for myself, selling whatever I can here, and then dumping the rest on ebay. I made a CL ad as well... Hopefully there will be enough of it left that the Mercedes dismantlers in Sun Valley will take it off my hands without charge.
