I have a 1975 300D with 105,000 miles that I am parting out. I am taking the engine and windshield for myself. The body is rusty, but the hood, trunk lid, and a lot of chrome trim are still good. Everything but the body panels are pretty good, let me know what parts you might be interested in, and I will let you the condition.

Are you going to need the engine mount arms ? I am looking to repower my 240D with a 300D and I think the mount arms are different ,, maybe you could just find the casting # off each side for me , I can check mine then, thanks.

Do you know if those numbers are visible before the engine is removed? Otherwise it is going to be a little while before I actually take the motor out.

So that should still be a w115 chassis? My dad's '74 240D needs the chrome strips along the very bottom of the driver's side (from front to back wheel), and the rear driver's side chrome that's inline with the trunk button (from button to the driver's rear corner). Also the front interior dome light, and front driver's side courtesy/door light switch. You can email pictures if you have then. Thanks -Jason
