Hi everyone

I had a minor fire in my boot several months ago (my manual roof tool was floating about in there and it shorted between the battery and part of the chassis!) As a consequence I have to replace the hyraulic tube that runs from a connector block to the base of the hydraulic ram that operates the tonneau cover (RHS). The current one is melted into a withered string... My mechanic claims that he can't find the part number and as I really want my car back from him, I'm resorting to your good selves :)

I believe the part number of the ram it connects to is 129 800 20 72

thanks for your help

Andrew

I found a web site with possible part numbers here

Êàòàëîã

this website looks quite useful for others who might be trying to find part numbers for their mercedes.

unfortunately it seems to list 4 possible part numbers. None of which I can find on any other web site to verify their correctness.

referring to the link above, so far it's looking like I need 1 of these...

017 1298000583
001 LINE FROM RIGHT VALVE BLOCK TO FOLDING TOP CASE CYLINDER,RIGHT NO.35 *035

020 1298003783
001 LINE FROM RIGHT VALVE BLOCK TO FOLDING TOP CASE CYLINDER,RIGHT NO.35 *036

023 1298000783
001 LINE FROM RIGHT VALVE BLOCK TO FOLDING TOP CASE CYLINDER,RIGHT NO.50 *035

026 1298003683
001 LINE FROM RIGHT VALVE BLOCK TO FOLDING TOP CASE CYLINDER,RIGHT NO.50 *036

Êàòàëîã çàï÷àñòåé MB. Âûáîð ìîäåëè. is a Russian site that I have found VERY helpful.

The p/n's that you listed are OEM parts. Try OEM Parts Direct :: Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Volvo and only use the p/n starting with the 129.....
Example: 1298000583 , Convertible/soft top - Stowage compartment - Line Right - Hydraulic system 1990 - 1994, $53.30
