GDay again from Downunder! The 3 sensors on the front left bumper bar - suddenly I'm being 'red lights' warned every time I go below about 10 m.p.h even though there is nothing there and I'm in traffic or an empty car park. I stopped and applied a trusty smooth and soft cloth to each sensor to see if there's anything on one or more of them that may be causing the false alarms. oops! I pressed slightly too hard on the middle of the three sensors and the bloody thing popped back into the bumper bar. It is sitting about 1/4 inch inside.
Apart from paying someone a couple of hundred dollars to take the front bar off and put it back, is there any other way of securing the damn thing and pulling it forward to pop it back into place...?
And, of course, when I do manage to pop it back into place, what goes wrong with these sensors to make them do this? I'm not getting any Warning Message when it squeals its head off either - funny, considering the number of other messages I get to remind me to pick up milk on the way home! LOL
As usual helpful people, any advice gladly received!
Cheers from a very hot and humid Gold Coast...
