I have been getting quotes for new paint & fixing door dings.
High to lows 10,000, 5500, 2500 (average), 1500, 1000.
Very happy that rubber spoiler is history as of today lol,
the car looks so much better! It was easy to remove took
it off myself with hexagon tool.

Does anyone know how to take a photo from the cell phone and
send it to email. I want to post a newly painted benz photo for you
all to see and tell me what you think the cost was to paint it.

My next question is what color is best for resale or should I leave it original?

K:)

Finally got it thanks for the help on the phone mail. Here is the photo the car looks really good.
I don't plan on selling it just thought it would be good to know about resale for future:).

Jippi- How did Macco do for you? I've heard they do garbage work, but I was just wondering what you though of their work?

I wouldn't paint it. Try paintless dent removal first.

If you are painting to sell your car it will sell for an extra $300 after a $1,500 paint job
Just my 2cts.

I wouldn't paint it to sell it... Unless every last thing is documented a potential buyer will think you are trying to hide something.

I think it varies from shop to shop, I had work done at one in Scranton years ago and was pleased. Go check out their work and check the BBB and see if there have been any complaints.

Locally they said they take the car apart even the windows out. I have been all over the place most of the pricing was 2500 range.

That's similar to the quote that I got for the 16v. $7k-8k for a "complete" paint job. Included window removal, door/hood/trunk jams, engine bay, etc. I didn't pay any where near that kind of money to BUY the car. Plus she was neglected most of her life. I couldn't see spending that kind of money on paint. $2000 seemed worth it for me.

10k is waaay too much, unless your getting a custom paint job or something, it shouldnt be there, i dont care if there taking everything off, it shouldnt be that much. its not like there doing a tune up while they paint the car so it shouldnt be that much.
