I'm buying a set of 18 inch Amg monoblock Aero II wheels. I know, 17s should be the max size, but I like 18's.
So the seller is going to re-paint them and I will be getting polished lips instead of machined lips, which is what I requested.
So I have 2 choices to paint the faces:
Paint code 744 - which I think is the standard silver everyone uses (I think Aero I used 735)
Paint code 777 - which is the silver used on the R129 Silver Arrows.
There is a Youtube video on the colour of the R129 Silver Arrows, and if you go to about 3:33 - 3:41 min you will see the type of silver.
The body of the car is 777 silver in the video. Does anyone know if those 6 spoke BBS wheels on the silver arrow also uses the same silver paint 777 ?
And I would appreciate your opinions on which code to go with 744 or 777?
Btw, I like my wheels on the shiny and glossy side.
