P0446, looking for a compatible part

I have a code P0446. I'm looking to finally fix this by the covid-postponed emissions inspection due at the end of this month. I've checked the wiring going to the vapor canister shutoff valve (fuses ok, continuity ok), and the purge control valve in the engine was changed recently. I'm looking to find a cheap replacement shutoff valve from a pick-a-part. What years of this shutoff valve design were compatible with a 98 ML? Is the tube part of the valve, or can I reuse the existing tube? What is the part number in case I have to buy this new online? Other threads mentioned a change in the part design somewhere down the line.
