I originally posted this in a 14-month old thread...sorry for the double post.

Plain english code translation
Can I get a plain english translation for this? My 124 blew this code:
Pin 8--code 9
9 O2S 1 (before TWC) - voltage too high, circuit open or voltage implausible.

So the OXYGEN SENSOR is Tango Uniform (tits up)... I'm guessing its the one BEFORE the cat-converter. Just where exactly is this O2 sensor? On the exhaust right before the cat or up close to the block exhaust manifold?

O2 sensor is located on the exhaust pipe, before the cat converter. The connector is in the footwell area on the same side of the car. Remove the carpet and you'll see the connector wires/plug enter the area at the base of the transmission tunnel where it joins the floor pan.

Good Luck,

Jayare
