Hey all I recently just bought my first e63 w211 and i got it with a check engine light. The guy/mechanic i got it from told me the code came up a week ago and he ordered a new o2 sensor and replaced it. I'm guessing he changed the right upstream senor as shown from his code reader.
He changed the senor and cleared the codes, but when i took the car home the CEL and missfires came back. My biggest problem is the car has headers and I've been told its not tuned. Do i scan it again clear it, drive it, and see what i get and just change whatever o2 sensor it says is giving me problems? Or do i need to take this car to be properly tuned for the headers and sensors? thanks for any help
