KAE, MEYLE, HAAS...
or should a spare used genuine suffice?

I was under the impression that KAE is MB. I also don't remember reading Stribel for an OVP. But I have read of endorsements for KAE.

I think Stribel is the OEM now..
So I am guessing KAE would be the closest to OEM?

It seems that KAE is crappier than genuine
