Ovp relay replacement 500sel gen 1

Hey guys it seems my ovp relay is shot, I tested it and heard no click my car runs perfectly without it no high idle or anything besides the abs not working.
The abs relays are working as I tested them and hearing it click. But the ovp relay just won't click. The ABS light remains on. Which part number will work with my 500 the superseding relay is NLA And used ones are going for $$$

Two things:
If the car is running perfectly, why do you need a new OVP relay?
Also, I see OVP relays for 1985 MB 500SEL listed for as low as $11.95. https://www.partsgeek.com/nqlc127-m...)&utm_term=1100003049375&utm_content=Mercedes

Hi I'm not sure of the correct part number, but "Wiley's Salvage" in Memphis TN. Has several Gen 1 & 2 W126's. They probably have what you're looking for. Good Luck

I’m also looking for an OVP relay for my 1985 500sec. The relay i need has only four pins. I can’t seem to find one.

You only need the ovp relay for ABS I'm researching if the old 81 380sl will work as it has 4 pins the 5 pin ovp realy will work

Can that be used as a ovp relay? I need the ovp relay for the abs to work that's the only purpose of it on a gen 1 euro spec 126.

I am replacing the OVP for the ABS light too. Will the plug fit the five pin relay, what is the fifth pin for. I have the relay that Danny linked. But that is not the correct relay.

The 5 pin relay works and it is the replacement relay. I can't even find that relay new or a used one for a reasonable price. A simple relay shouldn't go for $400

@Ravi Singh i saw one on eBay not the same as mine but 5 pins. Looked at my ovp and it’s a four pin relay. The ones I have have five pins, the pins are spaced further apart on my ovp relay so that’s a no go. YMMV

Searching my dad's stash of parts and found the same ovp relay I tested it and it clicked ! Now hopefully I'll plug it in and see if the light goes away.
