Sorry for so many questions, but has anyone ever replaced the control board mine does not function correctly? Also, are these like anything with Saabs where you would have to marrie a component if it’s not the same one from the car?
See pic as this is what mine is doing. it works then doesn’t work.

Presuming a reset didnt work.

For yours, I believe a swap should be a plug n play.
Members can correct me if wrong.

How to fix overhead trip computer

This may not be relevant. Our 2000 ML320 came with no trip computer. It just had the tow switch. A member sold me an entire console with a working computer. My daughter and I swapped the entire console because four hands make it easier while dealing with all the connectors. It worked...

I know there were some differences in years so try and match part no's. The one in my ML55 was drawing the battery so I (for some reason) fully removed it then lost the dang thing. Picked up another one at the Pick N Pull and the functions were different for w/e reason. I actually miss that old silly thing. Wish my ML350 would tell me how bad my MPGs were so the calculator wouldn't have to
