The 92 300E 4Matic Sedan I recently purchased has been having a problem with the outside temp.

It's reading about 40 degrees higher than the actual temp...was reading fine when I bought the car....

So is this a common issue?
And where is the outside Temp Sensor located, so I can check for bad wires/connectors.

I might add that the "Bulb out" indicator lights up when the headlights are on, though all the lights seem to work, other than some of the dash lights in the gauge cluster are blown, would blown dash lights trip the "Bulb out" light?

Sure wish I had an owners manual, and a shop manual for this car...

I appreciate any assistance you care to give me.

Thanks,
I don't seem to have much luck navigating this site....and haven't learned all the designations of the Mercedes cars and drive trains yet...
