Bought four Outer Window Seals for my 1986 280GE.

Is this a do-it-yourself repair or should I take it to the pro's to do. Out mechanic is from my experience the best and comes with an excellent reputation. I am not bad with repairs, but if this could be extensive, I would rather have it done by a pro.

I did a search on the forum and couldn't find any close matches. The seals cost $130 from the local dealership, a bargain.

If these outer seals are the seals which wipe the outer portion of the glass when you roll down the window, then it's a do-it-yourselfer.

If the front seal number is; A 463 735 04 65 then, I'm sure you can do-it-yourself.
