I'll have to disagree with you the Vodka of choice is Pravda from Poland...you'll love it. So smooth.

Hefe-Weizen is a type of beer. I agree though, a good Hefe Weizen in the summer can't be beat. I'm a big Paulaner fan. Mmmmmm..........

I think it's a bit funny when people say they hate american beers, or "won't allow them in their fridge." Some of the best beers in the world are American. Either brewed in micro-breweries, or even mass produced. You don't even know what good beer is unless you've tasted a great micro freshly made.

Some good bottled examples are from:
Rogue Ales
Goose Island
Stone Brewing Co.
Anchor Brewing Co.

I can't pick just one. It depends on the time of year, where I am, if I'm eating, what I'm eating, what my mood is, etc, etc.

I like microbrewery stuff i know some restaurants in my area - they got very good stuff, but mass produced - MGD, Bud etc..- i really have to force myself to drink it. I think i tried Goose Island, green bottles ? I think i didn't like it.

It just my opinion, i am not trying to convert anyone, but i yet to find a bottled American beer that i like, so i rather stick to European brands i know, BTW i tried some German brand with kings on a bottle - damn that was a piss...

Pravda is by far the best Vodka, followed by Pearl, Ciroc, Level One. I was turned on to Pravda in Vegas.

Heineken is really good from the source. The imported Heineken is generally skunk. If you are ever in Amsterdam, $3 equiv for 45 minutes of all you can drink.

Pilsner Urquel is good, but better from the source. Even with the horrible $$$$ exchange rate, it is still $2 a liter. Four years ago, you could go to Pilner and get it for $0.25 a liter.

Skol in Ljubljana is a small restaurant and micro-brew. Very good dunkels.

My favorite two beers are from Privatbrauerei Bischoff near Enkenbach in S. Germany: Dunkels (dark wheat)and a Hefe. It's right in the middle of the black forest, so you have beautiful scenery as well. The famous German weinstrasse is right around the corner, if wine is your thing. Can't get them in the states, so I have to make a trip every other year or so.

Locally: Rock Bottom, Pyramid, Gordon Biersch.

Nor. Virginia: Old Dominion Brewery

Ummmmm Beeeeeer. [:D]

An Aussie that doesn't drink beer[?][?][?]

I'm not big on beer, so I stick with the cheap flavorless stuff. Bud light.

Liquor--Grey Goose Martini, up, olives, dry

Don't tell anyone, but....

Mich golden light is my fav. beer, after guinness. I'm not nearly old enough to have a taste for refined beer, wheat, etc. Grey Goose vodka I'd have to say though...
