Here's an idea for those of you who want to put in an add on satellite radio plug and play unit like the Sirius Sporster, Starmate, Stratus or something of the like...

I got one and was going to put it into my Passport but the only way the mounting base gets power is through a cigarette lighter adapter. I'm the kind of person who, when something is installed want to see NO wires of any kind. I'm sure someone else has done this but I wanted to tell anyway...I wanted it mounted on the dash just below the radio so I came up with this: Using a vampire connector and an $8 Radio Shack socket, I wired a lighter socket behind the dash to plug the unit into. So now I have a nice clean looking install. :D

Cheers!
