I read a post on here before about an auto adapter that has a USB port, it allows you to connect your USB drive to the port, plug in the cigarette lighter, and feed the sound into the car. I cannot seem to find this thread, just wondering if anyone could shed light on this. Thanks!

If you do a google you can find a large number of these devices. Here is one of the first ones that showed up in the list.

The one in the old thread (as well as the one in the link above) had the downside of no "shuffle" feature, it always starts at the beginning. Does anyone know if someone makes one of these with that feature?

I am sure you can find the same product or better for cheaper than the link I posted. Just figured I would give the guy a place to start.

Tangent did you find anything interesting? I'm also interested in this but not so interested in FM rebroadcasters... Looks like there is a Clarion car dvd tuner that is iPod aware... but I'd prefer to keep my OEM look...

For keeping the OEM look I did find this MP3 adapter that looks interesting. you might now as an mbnz.org advertiser. I bought one of his Windscreens that I still absolutely loved even if it was a tad pricey. He says his adapter will work with iPods and I assume any MP3 device that has standard RCA jacks. Let me know what you get. I've not jumped on anything yet.
