Props for MacGyverisms.

Total loser I guess....Talking about me. Had 2 Pintos (one that my teenage son and daughter drove for over 2 years) and 2 Corvairs. We're all still here. They were good cars but son hated it. It was not a chick magnet for a high school boy. A woman pulled out in front of him in the one Pinto and he T-boned her. Insurance totaled it for $400 more than I paid for it 3 years prior. <G>

I've driven worse. I also had 2 pintos, a 71, my first new car, and a 74 wagon I stuffed a 289 in. Never had a bad day in either of them.

Well... It gives me hope for any restorations I plan in the future, I like the gas tank with makeshift fuel line

Their was a "Top Gear" episode where they drove some kind of 3 wheeled English thingy that flopped on it's side going around corners. On the plus side, a couple of bystanders could help you roll it back up and send you on your way. They drove it thru downtown London as I remember.

Should have let the guy go and wait for further proof that Darwin was right.

I had an "airport" car when I was flying out of St. Louis back in 1991. It was a Subaru Wagon with about that much rust. When I hit a pot hole in the rain, the water would splash up through the carpet in my face!.

It had two different color front fenders, and only one of them was completely bolted on, so the other one would sprout wings and "FLY" at about 55MPH. Yep, it started flapping in the breeze!!!

I called it the "Birth Control Mobile": Because I knew that if I ever picked up a chick in that car, I had already had WAY TO MUCH to drink, and should just go home alone instead!!
