OKAY I AM HIGHJACKING WILLB'S THREAD ON ETIQUETTE. What are the man rules (to be PC "person rules) for owners of 107s.

No "hanging out" around someone else's 107 waiting for them to return to their car... Unless you're driving yours and parked nearby. Otherwise you're just creepy.

Remember, a Mercedes Benz is delivered from the factory with right of way, unless encountering another MB, then marque prevails, with S class having right of way over E class or C class, and if it's another S class, then the oldest one has right of way, gas over diesel.

If you are not driving your 107 then you must post your progress with pictures to prove you are serious. And you are honor bound to answer any question of which you have knowledge. Even if you are wrong. Someone will point out your stupidity and laugh about it.

The older car gets the right of way. You don't want to expose bad tuning or a vacuum leak, let the older car go.

I've noticed that unless I'm parked most other 107 drivers will ignore me on the road, given that most people driving these cars around here are between 60-70 years old, that is a good thing.

One rule is, Never brag on your car's performance to your friends. Something will
surely break, or go wrong the next day.

Good one.

My first car....the day I bought it........a '72 Dodge Coronet.

After school myself and 5 friends pile in and off we go. About 50 feet.

Then the drive shaft falls off.

How cool is THAT!
