51F today in the Great White North.

But yesterday was another story. I drove white knuckled 360 miles (4wd) in freezing rain.

If I worked out the conversion right we are at -4.5 C (24 F?). A Little sleet then snow earlier. Nothing to worry about but more is on the way.

10:00 pm last night 65F

18 hrs later it's 25F and there's about half an inch of ice/slush on everything.

Southern Illinois is closed tomorrow with worst case expectations of up to a foot of snow over an inch of ice.

Sadly there are a couple of must-do jobs sitting on my desk so I'll probably have to go in for a few hours regardless.

LOL.
Just think how bad its going to be here tomorrow - when I pull
my SL outside and wash and detail it in tomorrow's sunny 70's.
Well I might get sunburnt while outside, maybe drink too much beer too:)

Here in Colorado. Last night it was -7F, windchill -14. High of 10F today. Supposed to get up to 28F next Tuesday? The skiing is off to a good start. Nice thing here it comes in spells and turns mild. So I can still take some spins in my SL and not even get dirty.

Yikes. I didn't even know about this. I guess I've been in my own world.

I hope everyone does ok. Be careful and warm out there!

Most of it missed me so far. 75 miles south looks nasty.

Looked at the radar for your area Alan. Pretty active and bound to continue for awhile. Throw other dog on the fire. Stay safe.

IMO I should sleep with the dog on one side and the wife on the other for warmth.
The dog seems to feel that her place is in the middle.

I had to do landlord stuff all day, meaning I drove the wagon instead of the 107 during the sunny and mid 60's today. By the time I was done, the clouds were rolling in and the temps were dropping. No WDTD for me.

24 tonight in the Columbia River Gorge near Portland Or. For us wimps, that's colder than a well diggers ass! Luckily no precip. Yet. SL's are tucked in a 65 degree garage. Lucky I'm on a level pay for natural gas ! Looks like the poor Bastards South of Salem might get some snow tonight. Sure wish you crazy Canadians would keep your precious cold air to yourselves :D

Jim, glad to hear you missed the worst of this.
Amazing how weather systems push warm air in front of it.
This morning it was a pleasant 66F - felt like a summer morning.
It was windy from the storm movement this way.
Its gonna get Cold Saturday night. One thing many of
us North Carolinians have to deal with in cold weather is our
Heat Pumps - those put out cool air rather than warm air. A good
gas or oil furnace is much more comfortable.
