OT: Equifax Security Breach

So 143 million of my fellow citizens and Canadians are at the mercy of the hackers thanks to Equifax's lax security. Here is the link to the website if you want to find out if your identity was stolen.

This being said some later news reports question Equifax's motives, particularly in the terms of service agreement that most of us just click agree and ignore.

I know my info was compromised a month ago when I got inquiries from credit cards that I never applied for, and found large money transfers out of my legit accounts that Chase Bank agreed to freeze. So watch your statements and consider using the free 90 day fraud alert option (one agency does all three); that can be extended if needed.
