I ordered a fully loaded GLE450 AMG Coupe today.

Delivery is expected in August. Pricing TBD.
I have the Euro pricing (attached) but many items are standard for US production that are optional in other countries. 1 Euro = US$1.05

My rep usually gives me a 6% to 10% discount off list prices.

It is what my wife wants now that we will be empty nesters starting this fall.

I was going to wait a year to let them work the bugs out. I think they are the coolest vehicle in that market segment.

I finally received the pricing. :-(

Base price is $65,100 for the GLE 450 versus $59,600 for the BMW X6 35i. I was told that the base price would be competitive with the X6. It is not.

With options my GLE sticker came to $78,490 w/o maintenance versus a similarly equipped X6 at $72,120 with maintenance. That boils down to a $10k difference.

The GLE will be shipped on 21 August. I hope the dealer is ready to offer a BIG discount or I'll back out and buy a 2016 BMW X6 in September.

The top of the line BMW X6 M you can get it with heated steering wheels and heads up display on the windshield,good for people that live in cold countries like Canada,the Mercedes Benze GLE 63 AMG coupe is the competition for this BMW X6 M and you cannot get those option that I listed here.

I agree. The missing heads up display is a major shortcoming.
I'm in Florida so I won't miss the heated steering wheel, but I'm sure to enjoy to cooled drink holders. :smile
In addition the BMW has a tiny sunroof, a third of the size of the GLE panoramic sunroof. There are many minor differences in the electronic options as well. Decisions, decisions.

I think you also get those 4 grip handle on the inside on top of the four doors of the Mercedes Benz GLE coupe,you dont get those on the BMW X6M,you get it on the BMW X5M.

Those grips are a necessity for the terrified passengers when cruising Pike's Peak or the Coast Highway, . . .

Update - GLE arrived on time. Dealer offered a 5% discount with a 1.8% money factor and a 67% residual on a 24 month lease. That's less than $30k for a single payment lease.

The bad news is that the GLE sits so high off the ground that the wife and kids need a ladder to climb aboard. Decisions, decisions - new car or new family . . .

You can get the heated steering wheel on all the GLE coupe just not the HUD yet,I hope you get all these on the new GLS.
