optimum tire pressure for snow tires

I am wondering what the best tire pressure is for my snow tires (Nordfrost III, 205/45) to maximize performance in the snow (i.e. control in the snow) and get a decent ride in dry conditions (obviously I am not concerned about great performance on dry pavement, after all, they are snow tires).

Any input?

Thanks

Run the same pressures that you normally would, 35 psi all around. The narrower tires with the higher pressures will punch a narrow hole in the snow, and bite the asphalt better.
The contact patch on the snow will be long and narrow as opposed to wide and short. Because you are disturbing less snow, you get better traction.
(At least that was the way it was explained to me.)
