Can anyone help me to reprogram my MB key to open all of the window at the same time? It is getting hot here in Hawaii.:):bowdown:I have a 2002 S500.

All your help will be appreciated.

It's not a matter of programming the key. Your door lock system operates of radio frequencies (RF), but the window open/close feature works on infra red (IR). The key must be pointed at the small square IR receiver in the driver's door handle.
It's too bad the convenience is IR only. It would be great if you could use this via RF, then you don't have to deal with LOS issues, or at least add an IR receiver to the otherside as well.

on the w211, press the unlock while pointing at the IR receiver on the driver's door handle. release when the windows are open to your liking.

You mean like a Honda? That's right, I can open the windows of my wife's lowly Honda Accord from 20 feet away from any direction.

Did you know you can close all your windows and sunroof by holding the lock button on your key and pointing at the door handle?

Exactly...But then again, I didn't buy my E350 for it's electronics. The Honda Accord certainly doesn't drive and feel like the E and certainly doesn't compare with an S. But you'd think that the product planner people would want the S to set the benchmark in all areas...or is that too much to ask...

Its not about features, its all about security.
In the Honda the key button might be pushed in your pocket (opening the windows) without you knowing it.
If it happens with the Merc the car will only be unlocked and then lock itself again in a few seconds.
