I have an S550 and I am thinking about a body kit. Clearly Lorinser is a top choice but I have mixed feelings. Any other good body kit companies??? This guys Lorinser kit looks OK but his rims make me want to do this. :banghead:

Ohmigawd - that's really horrible. Why on earth people are so bent on trying to mess with the lines of this car I can't understand. And these chromed oversize wheels are just so ghetto......

I'm sorry but I would not be seen driving either one of those. I understand minor improvements but pretty much every kit for the SL I have ever seen was either a freak-show or a wannabe black series. However, all of that is my personal opinion and everyone has a different taste.

Those kits don't come painted, or really even fitted very well sometimes. And that's not just Lorinser, it's pretty much all of them. If you do choose to do it, make sure you find a body shop that takes their time to do it right.
