When was the last time you changed your brake fluid:rolleyes:

If you own Mercedes and doing repares yourself , Mityvac is a very handy tool
checking vacuum leaks Or bleeding the brakes .

:eek: I was listening to NPR today Click AND Clack show (anyone ?) and was in shock when some lady called , and told on the radio that she changes oil around 10,000 miles (thats usually when her engine oil light comes on,her husband is not far behind :eek:) Wonder how many more are like this,have someone ever encounter this kind???

There's a number of cars that have 10k mile or greater recommended oil change intervals. I wonder if she meant low oil light or a change oil message.

Was talking to my mechanic the other day about fluid changes. He said hes seen cars that have been 20 years without a change and they fluid is still fine even when he tests it and he was amazed. He said that humidity is the realy killer for brake fluid but that it's still good to change and flush it anway.
