OK I thought I would be entertained and ask how much a SLK32 longblock was from MB. Are you ready for this, $54000.00. I asked 3 times if they meant hundreds and they said no. Can this be true? If so I can understand high insurance rates for full coverage. Being that I can get a entire car for almost half that.

Last time I recieved a quote for an SLK32 engine from the dealer it was ~$34k.

600 hp crate engine, all modifications, drive train, suspension, etc, maybe $25,000, of course you couldnt keep rear tires on it , and 250 mph in the quarter is way to fast to drive. still its an interesting thought!
