OM617A engine questions
Hello all,
I have an OM617A (from a 198? 300TD) engine swapped into my 1982 300GD Gelaendewagen and have a few questions/problems I am wondering if anyone can answer.
1. What should this engine rev to, I think my tach is reading wrong?
2. I am getting some unburned fuel coming out the tail pipe, any ideas why?
3. My rear main seal has a slow leak. How big of a job is it to fix?
4. What is the best weight of oil to use, any preferred brands?
5. I have a copy of the EPC compact, but don't have a code for the 123 chassis. Is it on this CD-rom?
