Hi All,

I have a 2002 ML270 (same body as ML320) which has had a reversing bash! with a power pole (ouch!).
So I bought another bumper from a wreckers yard but when I got it home I realised it was for a 1999-2001 model. The differences looked minor but when I started taking my old bumper off the car I discovered my 2002 mudguards would not fit the 2000 bumper.

So I'm not sure now if the 2000 bumper will fit my car at all.... Can someone please advise me?

The mounting brackets are different. Try these guys this is where I got my engine from they specialise in only merc 4wd.
They are very reasonably priced and might send you one.

I guess the best place to list up my the 2001 bumper is Gumtree?

You'd probably get more by trying to sell it back to the wrecker you bought it from, rather than dealing with lowballers on Gumtree.

Hi Matt,

Sorry for the late reply ... I've been forgetting to check on this thread.
Long story short I've end up putting through insurance but I know the Smash Repairers are having a hard time finding a 2002 bumper. So I'll call them on Monday and pass on Merc4wdwreckers (and Lee's) details.
