Ok.. What is this?

Ok...

Dug out the attached piece of plastic from under the seat of my 560. Can't seem for the life of me to be able to figure out what it is.

Anyone recognize this busted off piece of junk, or should I just toss it. It's about 5 inches in length.

Thanks!

Those are covers that go on the bottom inside of the seat vertical backrest supports. You should have two for each seat.
I think they are unique to the SLC seats.
Thanks John!

Tomorrow I shall return the elusive part to it's regular position!

:)
At last!
I've had one of those sitting in the glovebox of my SLC since I bought it. Now I can put it where it belongs. Thanks.

Not if it came off of his 560.....

Just sayin'....
I had to replace some of those on my 560sl. One on the passenger seat, which fit up just fine with the chromed plastic trim.

Another went on the driver seat, on the side with the armrest. For the life of me, couldn't figure out how to slip it in place to match up with the chrome trim. It did not want to match around the metal bracket.

So, it's sitting in my glovebox.

Yeah... I couldn't figure it out either. Looks like from the posts above that the glovebox is the proper storage location for this part!
