buddy i know how you feel. mine did not have the ball in it. but i can tell you if it was me i would drill a small hole down no more than .250 and use a easy out to remove it. the critical stuff you are after in there is deeper than that. i did that adjustment on mine this morning. i hope it helps. what is yours doing?
