I have an oil leak on the oil pressure switch. It looks like it is coming from where the cable plugs into the switch around the O ring. (Picture #1) My plastic cable end is cracked and can not make a full seal around the O ring when I plug it in. (Picture #2) Do you think the crack in the plastic is what is causing the leak. I wouldn't think that any oil is supposed to come out from that area anyways.
I know there is an O ring on the backside, but it doesn't seem to be leaking from the top or bottom. Just dead center where is plugs in. Is there a way to stop the leak without having to replace the switch?
Thanks!
