I noticed some oily residue on the surface of the right wheel. (91 560SEC)Pulled the wheel, expecting to find a missing grease cap - but cap was intact and secure, and when I popped it off was full of clean grease.
However, just below the grease cap on the hub, and on the inside of the wheel, was a deposit of a clear/amber oily residue.
I took some photos and will post tonight, but does anyone have a guess where this might be coming from ??

Appreciate any thoughts/guesses ...

If it turns out not to be break fluid I would suspect overheating wheel bearing or incorrect type of bearing grease or possible differing types of grease in the bearing, had a similar issue not so long ago, what looked like oil residue on the outside of the wheel, removed the hub and bearings, cleaned bearings & hub, repacked with good quality bearing grease, adjusted wheel bearings, problem gone.
