Hey I have a 99' SLK 230 63,000 miles. Runs great. But I can't figure this one out. Under the hood around the furthest rear spark plug to the front windshield is a slight pool of oil around the hole where its screwed into. I unscrewed it and pulled the plug out and its covered in oil. The other plugs are dry and look normal. Where's it coming from? I don't see anything like a crack. There must be a seal that's pushing it out. It's not like a lot of oil - its a few tablespoons of pooling oil in that area. You smell it when the engines hot. But otherwise the car runs fine.

What do you think it might be? Why would a plug be covered in oil when I unscrew and remove it from theengine?

Any ideas or help is greatly thankful.
