I'm looking at a set of wheels (19x9.5 / 19x8.5) and apparently they are only offered with on offset of ET38. Is this something that can be compensated for with spacers? (I never remember if spacers "increase" or "decrease" the offset).

If so, what size spacers would I be looking at and at what point is a spacer too much for the stud length on the SLKs? I recall reading something about a different style of lug nut helping here as well?

hmm- none of these smileys look confused.

Thanks for any info anyone can offer.

I think the OE offset is 37 and 30. Not 100%. Spacers decrease the offset.
