I’m starting to appreciate the lines of my W212. When I’m driving it always reminds me from the hood line of a W126 S Class. Yet I looked at the length and it’s only about an inch or two more than my W210, which was an inch or two more than my W124.

But!

I believe it’s almost a foot wider than my W-210.

That must be what gives me the sensation of the S class

We just had a baby and my wife's GLK which we anticipated using as a baby hauler was not going to cut it.
Spent a couple of weeks looking and an hour after this popped up online I went to see it. The next day it came home.
2016 E350 4matic with designo red leather and piano black interior. Lots of good options but not stacked loaded.
The Motegi wheels are a bit tacky but in good shape with new tires so they'll stay for now and I'll see about sourcing some original AMG wheels (maybe throw on some spacers in the meantime).
All in all, very impressed with this one!

Fun fact, did you know 2013 was the first year since 1987 to have no repeating numbers in the year? (ex. There's two 9's in 1998, there's two 2's in 2012.)

I always look for a "friend" when I park in nicer places.

Sorry, no interior shot on the wagon... both purchased here in FL, within the last six months, both around 40K miles. Took me 6 months to find the wagon, worth the wait.

Parked at Charles Lindbergh museum today in Little Falls Minnesota

other than an 1800 mile trip to Oregon a few months ago this is the most it's been driven and the mileage seems to improve. On one 400 mile stretch across Wyoming it was just a shade under 30 miles per gallon

Here is my 2013 e350, still with only 38000 miles on it. Nothing really special. I bought it about a year and a half ago. the highlights:

1. Rims straightened/painted/decurbed (painted/decurbed by me, think I did a good job. Previous owner used wheels/tires for curb feelers.
2. White side markers (light up yellow, CANBUS LED)
3. Facelift-style Depo taillights for pre-facelift
4. CARPLAY box installed by me
5. Tinted windows
6. Custom aftermarket grille (note mesh installed), lightable star
7. Seatcover (driver) replaced by me, soon will replace passenger preventatively
8. MB winter mats
9. Wood trim 100% replaced with new MB wood trim (by me, it remains to be seen what I will get out of the class action lawsuit)

The tenth thing is actually fairly unique. I put in folding mirrors and modified the car’s firmware settings in order to use them. A new switch panel was installed (and then overlayed with brushed silver keytops). No US 2013 W212 had folding mirrors; they were not available as an option in the US. They fold when I lock the car and open when one of the front doors open.

I have a Quickjack with exenders and I do (most) of my own work as long as it's not too heavy.
