My suburb received 200mm rainfall, it rained straight for about 60hrs non stop. Garage was flooded ankles deep and those plastic pallets paid off.
NSW water dams received 20% fill up over the weekend just from direct flow. Stil rising.

so I'm isolated in the Hawkesbury due to the river flooding and closing a couple of bridges for a few days. They opened one bridge last night and a 10 minute trip this morning took 3 hours as the 'main bridge' is closed...further to that, and the 1.25 million acre fire that just got put out by 8 inches of rain on the weekend, this morning we just had an earthquake...surely it's time now?

yeah it's where our flippant attitude comes from....'she'll be right'.
Imagine these poor people, having a great white shark swimming around in a flooded lagoon near your house this week near Manly in northern Sydney...

Murphy continues as the oracle of choice but I've always preferred Finnegan. Finnegan's Law is a very simple four word phrase - "Murphy was an optimist"
