I did have the cabin filter change but didn’t help. I had to have the HVAC system cleaned. However, recently I got a notice of the lawsuit about Mercedes HVAC. I copied the link so hope it helps.Hello,
I have an odor from the A/C when it is turned on. I am sure it is a buildup of mold and mildew on the evaporator core. Is there an easy way to access the evaporator core and spray a disinfectant to kill these germs and the associated odors?
Probably changing the cabin filter may help also, but after watching videos online, it looks like a pain.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Right. I got it done at the dealership and it was like $300Yup, I got this notice too today. MB will pay the cost of your cleanup. However, read the fine line. I believe they will only reimburse you if you got the service at an "Authorized Dealer" (read MB dealership)
