I have seen this rig years ago and the story was it came from Canada and was used in mining. The odd thing is ther rear diff looks like a 12 bolt GM and it has leaf springs on the rear. There was a bed mounted tank that eliminated any possible frame flex that is removed now. Maybe I need to put a 1 in front of the 7,500 I would take for my old topless 406 in my avatar. I have not tried posting a link but I guess I could google that. Until then there's a custom cab and coach and odd axle 406 that looks like it drove through a boat hauling road construction signs:):)

Regular front axle for 406 but the rear is just a truck axle, I seem to recall it looked like a 3/4 ton rear end from a pick up and I was baffled as to how the gear ratios match! That was several years ago. I recall for certain that the rear end wasn't stock appearing. It may have been the diff was grafted to the portals and axles and it was lacking the torque tube.

This is an owesome hunting buggy with an extra large cab to keep your dry stuff dry. It has bucket seats with lots of leg room.

It has an 8 speed trans with air over hydrolic brakes and air lockers front and rear. The frame and axles are 2.5 ton. With a 6 cylinder Mercedes diesel engine it sips the fuel. You can go over 200 mi of back country trails on one tank. I am willing to concider trades or trades and cash. I am looking for a 2005 or newer Polaris Ranger 6X6. Call me and make me an offer. 907 288 3192 or 907 491 1600. If I don't answer leave me a message, and I will call you back

Just imagine how Owesome it would be with the rear
Gable end structure in place with a blue tarp and bungee
Cords finishing it off.
Elk camp on wheels.
